Origin®+ ADDTM
Origin®
System of lockable plates designed for cervical spine stabilization by anterior approach from German company ulrich medical.
Who is it for ?
The implant is indicated for patients suffering from degenerative pathologies of the intervertebral discs, disc herniation, spondylolisthesis, stenosis, fracture, osteophyses or, for example, hypertrophy of the posterior longitudinal ligament.
Why Origin®?
The implant is made of a biocompatible titanium-aluminium-vanadium alloy. It consists of a set of self-tapping and self-drilling screws and pre-bent inserts with a locking system that allows easy and intuitive instrumentation with a single dedicated tool.
It is also equipped with fixation holes for multi-level surgery and features one of the lowest profiles on the market, from 1.3 mm to 2.8 mm.
ADDTM
Vertebral body replacement for the anterior cervical and thoracic spine also used for intersomatic fusion from the German company ulrich medical.
Who is it for ?
The implant is intended for patients suffering from spinal instabilities of various origins. From conditions following complete or incomplete corpectomy due to destruction of the vertebral body by tumour or fracture, to disc removal due to degeneration. It applies to segments C3-Th3. To guarantee complete stabilization of the segment, a combination of the implant with an additional fixation system of pedicle screw-rod system or plates is necessary.
Why ADDTM ?
The Anterior Distraction Device ADDTM is used for the reconstruction of cervical and thoracic spine defects and as an intervertebral interbody insert to support and restore the spinal profile. The implant is easily expandable in situ, which ensures optimum bridging of the operated defect according to the patient’s individual anatomical needs, and features large support surfaces with spikes that provide stable anchorage and support.
The implant is available in three diameters (12, 14 and 16 mm), with an expansion range from 10 mm to 65 mm.
